PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: 3/16/16

Welcome to PD by Teachers! We are excited to provide responsive and engaging professional development for teachers and by teachers.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to learn more about the PD by Teachers privacy practices. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy policy, please send a detailed message to info@pdbyteachers.com.

WHAT DOES THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVER?

This Privacy Policy refers to the PD by Teachers website and services (collectively, the “Services”) and governs our data collection and usage policies for all persons who use our website.  This Privacy Policy also covers the privacy practices for persons under 13 years of age. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that PD by Teachers does not own or control or that PD by Teachers does not employ or manage.

WHAT IS “PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION”?

This Privacy Policy discusses the concept of “Personally Identifiable Information” or “Personal Information” and the way that it is collected and used by PD by Teachers.  Personal information is information about an identifiable individual and includes information which specifically identifies an individual, such as a name, address, telephone number, email address, or other account number, and information about that individual’s activities when directly linked to that person. Personal information also includes demographic information, such as date of birth, gender, geographic location and preferences when such information is linked to other personal information that identifies users.

Personal information does not include “aggregate” information. Aggregate information is data we collect about a group or category of products, services or users, from which individual user identities have been removed. In other words, information about how you use a service may be collected and combined with information about how others use the same service. Aggregate data helps us understand trends and our users’ needs so that we can better consider new features or otherwise tailor the PD by Teachers website.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Our Services require that all users are old enough to form a binding, legal contract with PD by Teachers (usually this age is 18 years old). If you are younger than the age to form a valid, legal contract with us, you must get your parent or guardian’s permission to use our Services. It is very important that you read this Privacy Policy and our corresponding Terms of Service with your parent or guardian so you understand the rules of conduct that correspond with the PD by Teachers Services.
